Nov 2 schoology 7.3 is due tonight.,

Nov 3 Calculating percent change for potato’s chipped pieces in 0.0, 0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,.0 Molar solutions.

Nov 4 Reading 7.3 on membrane transport. Test next Tuesday on chapter 7 cells.

Nov 5 Lecture and continue to work on POGIL membrane structure

Nov 6 -Lab: dialysis tubing with 1 % starch solution inside student prepared, and teacher added KI, potassium iodide, solution (osmosis and diffusion of Iodide across the semipermeable membrane). Group quiz on rDNA and biotech.

10/15 Amgen Lab 5 on Transformation of E. coli with a recombinant plasmid containing the rfp gene, ampicillin resistance gene, arabinose digestion gene.

10/16 observing results on the petri dishes of the controls and experimental results. Photograph sent to the teacher on email of the results.

9/28 Brain Jog- DNA to RNA to Protein (13.1) Three schoology.com homework are available due different days.

9/29 Micropipette lab using the P-20 (Lab 1.1 from Amgen) practice micro-pipetting- send photo to f.beerstein@ecrchs.net. Finish DNA Structure and Replication (POGIL) and Come Fly with us not yet discussed.

9/30 More POGIL DNA structure. Introduce Code -> Codon -> Protein -> trait, Lab make up at lunch, Cornell notes 7.1, 7.2,12.1,.2,.3 and ch13.1 should be done.

10/1 (Amgen Lab1.1a) Micropipetting into plastic wells- send photo to f.beerstein@ecrchs.net, Schoology assigned  to be due next Tuesday night on chap 13 transcription and translation (due Tues night, 10/6).
